Article Databases for Psychology Research

PsycARTICLES is a collection of full text articles from journals published by the American Psychological Association, the APA Educational Publishing Foundation, the Canadian Psychological Association, and Hogrefe & Huber.

 PsycINFO contains indexing for over 1,800 professional journals, chapters, books, reports, theses and dissertations, published internationally. Indexing coverage extends from 1806 to present for select titles, with most content from 1890 to present.

JSTOR is a database of thousands of academic journals, letters, and primary sources, covering the humanities, sciences, and social sciences. Articles are full-text searchable and include high-quality images.

ProQuest Psychology Journals contains indexing and abstracts for over 650 titles, more than 540 of which are available in full text. Additionally, it provides access to more than 4,000 full text dissertations representing a range of psychology disciplines.

Annual Review of Psychology covers the significant developments in the field of psychology, including: biological bases of behavior, sensation and perception, cognitive processes, animal learning and behavior, human development, psychopathology, clinical and counseling psychology, social psychology, personality, environmental psychology, community psychology, and more.

ProQuest PILOTS (Published International Literature on Traumatic Stress) is a resource sponsored by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Its goal is to include citations to all literature on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental-health sequelae of traumatic events, without disciplinary, linguistic, or geographical limitations, and to offer both current and retrospective coverage.

ProQuest Social Science Journals is a useful resource for students in the social sciences. This resource provides indexing for over 570 journal titles, over 340 of which are available in full text.

ProQuest Research Library is a large, diverse database that is useful to students in a wide range of subject areas. Content consists of indexing for over 5,000 titles, over 3,500 of which are available in full text. Coverage extends from 1971 to present.

General OneFile is a large database covering a wide range of subjects. It contains indexing for over 13,000 titles, over 8,000 of which are full-text, from 1980 to present.

Academic OneFile is a database that contains indexing for over 9,000 peer-reviewed journals, as well as magazines, newspapers, and audio, video and image files. Coverage stretches from 1980 to the present, and content is updated daily.

Wiley Online Library hosts the world's broadest and deepest multidisciplinary collection of online resources covering life, health and physical sciences, social science, and the humanities. It delivers seamless integrated access to over 4 million articles from 1500 journals, over 14,000 online books, and hundreds of reference works, laboratory protocols and databases.
